Kent Cricket Collage

Before contacting us, please take a moment to look through our FAQs which may well answer your query before emailing or phoning us.

As a very small team who are all involved in production, we really do struggle to deal with the volume of enquiries we receive. We have therefore tried really hard to include as much information as possible in the various sections so that the majority of questions will find their answers within the site.

For enquiries about products, please take a good look at all the information in the catalogue or contact your closest cricket specialist who will be happy to help. Salix is available through specialist cricket outlets who are qualified to give expert advice on Salix and cricket equipment generally.

If you still require particular assistance from us, then please contact us using the form below. For anything urgent please telephone but do bear in mind that we do not have a receptionist, customer service team or sales agents. You will speak to an owner/director/maker or possibly all of these combined.

With emails and letters we always respond, but please allow up to 28 days for us to do so.

Visiting the workshop

First and foremost we are manufacturers, so to buy a bat please see our list of stockists. However, we do open the factory to personal visitors during the cricket season each Saturday morning from 9am to 12noon, from Saturday 8th March until Saturday 27th September 2008. These Saturday mornings are dedicated to bat fittings and equipment sales. Due to our workload and health & safety reasons we cannot see anyone outside of these hours when we are at full production. Do telephone first if travelling any distance and check our NEWS page for updates on the workshop status.

How to find us

By car we are about 5 minutes from Junction 8 of the M20 so are very easy to find. Please enter our postcode (ME17 3JY) on Google Maps or Multimap for our location or follow the directions below:

From London/M25: take the M20 towards Maidstone / Channel Tunnel
From Dover/Channel Tunnel: take the M20 towards Maidstone / London

From the motorway, take exit number 8 for Leeds Castle, Lenham and Maidstone East (services incl. Tourist Information & cashpoints on this junction)
Follow all the signs for Leeds Castle (A20 then B2163)
Drive past the Castle entrance (on your left)
Continue straight on up through Leeds Village on the B2163/Leeds Road (going past a Church, a School, The George pub…)
Continue straight out of the village, up the hill and look out for the Ten Bells pub on your left.
Continue straight on for approximately 1 mile until you see a village sign for LANGLEY on your left.
Take the next right onto Horseshoes Lane.
After approximately a quarter of a mile you will pass a playing field on your right. Shortly afterwards you will see green farm gates - Butlers Farm.
We are in the first two buildings as you enter the yard. There is plenty of parking through the next double gates.
Please take care to enter the reception and pay attention to the no entry and no smoking signs on the factory doors. Thank you.

By train the closest station is Bearsted which is a 5-10 minute taxi ride from Langley (the quickest route is onto the A20 then right onto Caring Lane which comes out on Horseshoes Lane).
